The Sparta Preschool offers two different programs to best meet the needs of our community.  

 We offer a Title I half-day program that holds classes Monday through Friday 7:45 am-11:00 am and 12:00 pm-3:15 pm.   This class is offered at no cost to families other than a school supply fee of $25.  We also offer an MPP full-day program that holds classes through Monday through Friday 7:45 am-3:15 pm. The preschool follows the district calendar.

The preschool program offers multi-age groupings of children that are age 4 by August 1 of the current school year and 5-year-olds.  The preschool implements Creative Curriculum, a developmentally appropriate practice curriculum.  Learning and instruction is hands-on and individualized as children progress at their own rate and experience success. 

Classes have a full-time teacher and full-time teacher assistant for each class of 11-20 students.  We are a State of Missouri licensed childcare facility and each class may serve up to 20 children.  This means that our programs have been audited and certified to the rigorous standards as set forth by the State of Missouri, Childcare Center Licensing.
